These Terms of Service apply to purchases made from WorkMind ADHD through our website and online store.

By using this website or purchasing a WorkMind product, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. About WorkMind

WorkMind ADHD provides digital educational resources, workplace tools, worksheets and communication resources designed to help adults with ADHD better understand and manage workplace challenges.

WorkMind products are practical self-guided resources. They are not medical treatment, psychological therapy, diagnosis, legal advice, employment advice or a substitute for professional support.

If you need medical, psychological, legal, employment or other professional advice, you should seek advice from a suitably qualified professional.

2. Our digital products

WorkMind products are supplied electronically and may include:

  • digital books and workbooks
  • downloadable PDF toolkits
  • worksheets and templates
  • workplace scripts
  • bundled digital products
  • other digital resources made available through the WorkMind store

The specific contents of each product are described on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.

No physical product will be shipped unless this is expressly stated on the product page.

3. Ordering and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.

Payment is taken through the payment methods offered at checkout.

Your order is accepted when payment has been successfully processed and we provide confirmation of your purchase.

We may refuse or cancel an order where there has been an obvious pricing or technical error, suspected fraud, misuse of the website or another legitimate reason. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken and you have not received the digital content, we will refund the amount paid.

4. Digital delivery

WorkMind digital products are normally made available electronically after successful payment.

Delivery may take the form of:

  • an immediate download;
  • a download link;
  • an email containing access details; or
  • another electronic delivery method described at checkout.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address and ensuring that you can access the file format supplied.

5. Cancellation and refunds for digital content

Consumers purchasing online may normally have a 14-day cancellation period. However, special rules apply to digital content supplied immediately.

Before digital content is supplied immediately, you will be asked to expressly consent to supply beginning before the end of the 14-day cancellation period and to acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel will be lost once supply begins.

Where those requirements are met and supply has begun, you will normally no longer have the right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind.

This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described, or does not otherwise meet the standards required by law. Digital content supplied to consumers must, among other things, be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

6. Personal-use licence

When you purchase a WorkMind digital product, you are purchasing a licence to use that product for your own personal use.

Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, you may:

  • download and store the product for your own use;
  • print copies for your own personal use; and
  • complete, annotate and use the worksheets and tools as intended.

You may not:

  • share the files with other people;
  • upload the files to shared drives, websites, forums or file-sharing services;
  • redistribute or resell the product;
  • copy substantial parts of the product for distribution;
  • use the product as training material for clients, employees, groups or organisations;
  • remove WorkMind branding, copyright notices or ownership information;
  • create derivative products for sale or commercial distribution from WorkMind content; or
  • claim WorkMind materials as your own work.

7. Intellectual property

All WorkMind content, including text, frameworks, worksheets, designs, graphics, tools, scripts, branding and downloadable materials, is owned by WorkMind ADHD or used with permission.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.

You receive only the limited personal-use licence described in these Terms.

8. Educational purpose and results

WorkMind products are designed to provide education, reflection tools, workplace strategies and practical support.

They do not guarantee any particular result, including:

  • improved job performance;
  • career progression;
  • reduced stress;
  • improved workplace relationships;
  • successful requests for workplace adjustments;
  • improved health or wellbeing; or
  • any particular employment outcome.

How useful a resource is will depend on individual circumstances, workplace conditions and how it is used.

Nothing in our products should be interpreted as a guarantee that a particular strategy or approach will be suitable for every person or workplace.

9. Workplace adjustments and employment matters

Some WorkMind resources discuss communicating with managers, requesting support, workplace adjustments or discussing working conditions.

These resources are intended to help users organise their thinking and communicate more clearly.

They are not legal or employment-law advice and do not determine whether a particular adjustment, request or workplace practice is legally required or appropriate.

If you need advice about your legal rights at work, you should seek appropriate professional advice or consult a relevant official service.

10. Accuracy and updates

We take reasonable care to ensure that WorkMind materials are accurate and useful at the time they are published.

Workplace practices, guidance and legal requirements can change over time.

We may update, revise or improve our products and website from time to time.

Purchasing a product does not automatically entitle you to every future edition or replacement version unless we expressly state otherwise.

11. Website availability

We aim to keep the WorkMind website and digital delivery systems available and functioning normally.

However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.

Temporary disruption may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If a technical problem prevents you from accessing a product you have purchased, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to restore access or provide the file by another appropriate method.

12. Third-party services

Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party providers for payment processing, email delivery, analytics and other services.

Your use of those services may also be subject to the provider's own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the independent content, practices or availability of third-party websites that we do not control.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability that cannot legally be excluded under consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to those rights, WorkMind is not responsible for losses that:

  • were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made;
  • result from use of a product for a purpose for which it was not designed;
  • arise from decisions made without obtaining appropriate professional advice where such advice was required; or
  • relate to business or commercial losses where you purchased the product as a consumer for personal use.

14. Acceptable use of the website

You must not use the WorkMind website:

  • unlawfully;
  • to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
  • to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
  • to copy, scrape or reproduce substantial parts of the website or digital products without permission; or
  • in any way that infringes our intellectual property rights or the rights of others.

15. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please review that policy for details of how your information is collected, used and stored.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, business practices or legal requirements.

The Terms that apply to a particular purchase will normally be those in force when that purchase is made, unless a change is required by law.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections applicable where you live.

Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
